Sessions for Children and Parents
I offer a range of services to help you and your child/young person. Everything from initial conversations through to one off sessions and discounted packages.
-
Before starting sessions with a child/young person, I like to spend a little time getting to know the parent or carer first. This gives you a chance to share what has been going on for your child and what support you are hoping they might receive.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory phone call or video chat, where we can talk briefly about your concerns and you can ask any questions about how I work. It’s also a chance to see whether you feel comfortable that this approach would be a good fit for your child.
Parents know their children best, and these conversations are always approached with care, understanding, and without judgement.
-
If you would like more time to talk things through, I offer a longer 60-minute consultation. This gives us the time to explore:
what has been happening for your child/young person
any background that may be helpful to understand
what support/interventions they have previously had
the challenges they may be experiencing with emotions or wellbeing
what you hope your child might gain from support
This conversation helps me build a clearer picture so that sessions with your child can be as supportive and helpful as possible.

Forest Flourish offers individual sessions designed to support children with emotional wellbeing and regulation. Sessions with children are usually around 60 minutes and take place in a calm, supportive environment, or online if preferred. 60 minutes allows children time to settle in and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Normally we would start with 60-minute sessions but longer and shorter sessions can be arranged.
60-minute session: £55
The pace and length of sessions are always guided by what feels most comfortable for your child.
Sometimes I will check in briefly with parents to share general themes and discuss how best to support your child between sessions.
Sessions are tailored to the needs of each child/young person and may be short-term or longer-term depending on what is most helpful.
Support may focus on:
Identifying and understanding emotions
Managing anxiety
Developing emotional regulation strategies
Building confidence
Creating a safe space to talk and express feelings
Creative or gentle activities to help them express how they are feeling
-
Some children benefit from just a few sessions, while others may need longer support. For those needing support over a longer period, I offer a block of 6 sessions:
60-minute sessions: £300 (£50 each).
-
Includes:
60-minute parent consultation
3 child/young person sessions
brief parent check-in at the end
There is no obligation to commit to a set number of sessions.
All craft materials and creative resources used during sessions are provided and included within the session fee.
If, during our work together, it becomes clear that a child may benefit from more specialist therapeutic support, I can also help guide families towards appropriate services.

“What I love most is that moment when a child feels safe enough to start talking. You can see the physical change in them as they start to let go of the things they’ve been holding in and it is amazing.”
